TikTok Creator Fund Countries: What Replaced It and Where You Can Monetize in 2026

The Creator Fund Is Gone and What Replaced It

The TikTok Creator Fund no longer exists. TikTok's own announcement states: "Starting December 16, 2023, the Creativity Program will fully replace the Creator Fund in the US, UK, France, and Germany." There is no Creator Fund to be eligible for, in any country, and there has not been one since that date.

The program that replaced it was renamed again. On March 18, 2024 TikTok introduced the Creator Rewards Program, which is the Creativity Program Beta under a new name. That is the program you are actually asking about.

Creator Rewards Program Eligibility Rules

These are read verbatim from the Creator Rewards Program terms, which carry a last-updated date of July 20, 2026. The document itself is headed as the US terms, which matters for the country question below.

The terms state that the:

  • "Creator has at least 10,000 authentic followers"
  • "Creator had at least 100,000 authentic total video views in the last 30 days"
  • Creator is "18 years of age or older or the age of majority in their place of residence"
  • "Creator's account does not belong to a government organization, politician, or political party, nor is it a non-personal account, such as a Business Account or Organization Account"

And that eligible content must have "a duration of at least 1 minute publicly posted on the Platform".

Three things worth pulling out of that:

  1. The threshold is 10,000 followers, not 1,000. The 1,000 follower number that circulates on monetization pages is not in these terms and never applied to this program. It is the threshold commonly cited for TikTok LIVE access, a different feature.
  2. Videos under 1 minute earn nothing here. This is the single hardest number TikTok publishes about video length, and it is the reason so much TikTok advice suddenly started recommending longer videos. Our TikTok video length guide covers what that does and does not imply about reach.
  3. Business and Organization accounts are excluded. If you switched your account to a Business Account for the analytics, you have switched yourself out of this program.

We are not publishing a payout rate. TikTok does not publish an RPM, a per-1,000-views figure, or a per-country earnings table anywhere we could read. Every such number on competing pages is either a creator's self-report or an invention. The previous version of this page carried several and they have been deleted rather than softened.

Which Countries Creator Rewards Actually Covers

TikTok does not publish a consolidated public list of Creator Rewards Program countries that we could find and read. This is the honest state of the question, and it is why nearly every "complete list" page you will find is fabricated.

Here is the entire set of countries we can support from a TikTok primary source, and what each one rests on:

CountryWhat the primary source actually saysDated
United StatesThe Creator Rewards Program terms quoted above are the US terms and describe the program operating in the United StatesCurrent, terms updated July 20, 2026
France"The Creativity Program is currently available in the US, France and Brazil"February 2023
BrazilSame sentence as aboveFebruary 2023
United KingdomThe program "will fully replace the Creator Fund in the US, UK, France, and Germany" from December 16, 2023, so it operated there by that dateDecember 2023
GermanySame sentence as aboveDecember 2023

That is five countries, and two of them rest on a statement that is now more than two years old. We are deliberately not publishing a longer list. The previous version of this page named more than twenty countries with launch years attached, and none of them were traceable to TikTok. Italy and Spain, for example, definitely had the old Creator Fund, but the replacement announcement does not name them, so we will not assert either way what happened to them.

If you want a country answer for yourself, the only reliable check is the in-app one described in how to check what you actually qualify for. The program either appears in your Creator tools or it does not, and that is the authoritative answer for your account, your region and today.

A note on region switching: the program is tied to the region of your account and to a payout method that has to work where you are. We did not find a clause in the terms we read that names VPNs specifically, so we are not going to quote one at you. What is true is that misrepresenting your location to a payments program is a bad idea on its own merits, and no amount of routing changes the follower and view thresholds you still have to hit.

Program by Program Eligibility Table

Most competing pages compare countries. The more useful comparison is programs, because you may already qualify for one of these and not the one you were reading about. The sourcing column tells you how much weight each row can carry.

The blank rows are the point. TikTok's support pages and several of its legal pages render as JavaScript shells that serve no readable text, so we could not verify thresholds for the gifting, commerce and subscription products. Numbers you see quoted for those elsewhere may well be right, but nobody publishing them can show you where they came from either.

Other Monetization Routes and How They Are Gated

If Creator Rewards is not available to you, these are the real alternatives. We are describing what each one is and how it is gated in kind, without inventing per-country thresholds.

LIVE gifts. Viewers buy TikTok Coins and send them as gifts during a live stream, which the creator converts to a balance and withdraws. This is gated by LIVE access, by age, and by whether gifting and withdrawal are supported in your market. It is the most widely available route in practice because it does not depend on an advertiser-funded pool. If you are working out what a gift is actually worth after TikTok's cut, see our TikTok Coins value guide.

TikTok Shop and the affiliate program. You earn commission on products sold through your videos or lives. This is gated by TikTok Shop's country rollout, which is narrower than TikTok itself and moves independently of the creator payout programs. Where Shop exists, affiliate commission is usually reachable at far lower follower counts than Creator Rewards.

Series. Paid collections of premium videos behind a one-time purchase. The 2023 launch terms required an account at least 30 days old with at least 10,000 followers, more than three public videos in the last 30 days, and at least 1,000 authentic video views in the last 30 days, with an application route for creators with fewer followers who could show prior premium content sales elsewhere. Those numbers are primary but three years old, so treat them as a starting point rather than today's rule.

Creator subscriptions. Recurring paid membership with subscriber-only perks. Availability is limited and we could not read a primary eligibility document, so check in-app.

Brand deals and off-platform traffic. Neither is country-gated by TikTok at all, which makes them the only routes that work everywhere. If TikTok will not pay you directly, the leverage is moving the audience somewhere that will. Set up a TikTok link in bio properly and the traffic is yours regardless of which programs launch in your market.

One thing that is not a route: waiting. There is no public TikTok roadmap of upcoming Creator Rewards countries. The expansion timelines you will see with quarters attached to them are guesses presented as announcements.

The Creator Fund Historical Record

Short, dated, and clearly in the past tense, because this is history now.

The Creator Fund launched on July 22, 2020 in the United States. TikTok's announcement said "The US fund will start with $200 million to help support ambitious creators" and that "users must be 18 years or older, meet a baseline for followers, and consistently post original content in line with our Community Guidelines". A March 2021 update to that same post added that creators needed "at least 100K authentic video views in the last 30 days to be eligible".

It reached Europe on March 25, 2021, going live in "the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain", "Starting with $70 million (approx. £54 million) of funds available to thousands of creators across our European launch markets". The European requirements were stated as 18 or older, "meet a baseline of 10,000 followers", and "have over 100,000 video views in the past 30 days".

Those six countries, the US plus the five European launch markets, are the only Creator Fund countries we can confirm from TikTok's own announcements. The fund was widely reported to have run in other markets, and it may have, but we are not going to reprint an unsourced list of a program that no longer exists.

It ended in the US, UK, France and Germany on December 16, 2023. The complaint that drove the change was that per-view payouts were extremely low. TikTok positioned the replacement as materially better paying, which is exactly the sort of comparative claim we cannot verify and will not repeat as a number.

How to Check What You Actually Qualify For

Skip the country lists. The app knows.

  1. Open Profile, then the menu, then Settings and privacy.
  2. Open Creator tools. On some builds this sits under a Business suite or Creator center label.
  3. Look for Creator Rewards Program. If your region and account are eligible, it appears here with your current status. If it is not listed, it is not available to your account right now, and no separate application form exists to change that.
  4. While you are in Creator tools, note which of LIVE, Series, subscriptions and TikTok Shop are present. That list is your actual, personal monetization menu.

If the program is listed but locked, the dashboard shows which requirement you are short on, which is more accurate than any threshold table including ours. If your views are the blocker rather than your followers, the mechanics in why TikTok keeps showing you the same videos explain more about distribution than most growth advice does.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the TikTok Creator Fund still available in 2026?

No. The Creator Fund no longer exists. TikTok's own announcement states that starting December 16, 2023, the Creativity Program fully replaced the Creator Fund in the US, UK, France and Germany. That program was renamed the Creator Rewards Program on March 18, 2024, and it is what creators join today. Any page listing current Creator Fund eligible countries is describing a program that shut down.

Which countries have the TikTok Creator Rewards Program?

TikTok does not publish a consolidated public country list that we could read, so we will not print one. The countries we can support from TikTok's own documents are the United States, from the current Creator Rewards Program terms; France and Brazil, named in the February 2023 Creativity Program announcement; and the United Kingdom and Germany, named in the statement that the program replaced the Creator Fund there in December 2023. Anything beyond those five is unverified. The reliable check is whether Creator Rewards appears under Creator tools in your own app.

What are the Creator Rewards Program requirements?

The program terms state that the creator must have at least 10,000 authentic followers, must have had at least 100,000 authentic total video views in the last 30 days, and must be 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in their place of residence. The account must not belong to a government organization, politician or political party, and must not be a non-personal account such as a Business Account or Organization Account. Eligible videos must have a duration of at least 1 minute.

Do I need 1,000 or 10,000 followers for TikTok monetization?

For the Creator Rewards Program the published threshold is 10,000 authentic followers. The 1,000 follower figure that appears on many monetization pages is not in these terms; 1,000 followers is the commonly cited requirement for access to TikTok LIVE, which is a separate feature with its own gifting revenue. If a page tells you 1,000 followers gets you into the view-based payout program, it is wrong.

How much does the Creator Rewards Program pay per 1,000 views?

We are not going to give you a number. TikTok publishes no RPM, no per-view rate and no per-country earnings table anywhere we could read, and payouts vary with watch time, audience region and advertiser demand. Every specific figure circulating, including the ones this page used to carry, traces back to individual creator self-reports rather than to TikTok. Your own dashboard is the only accurate source for your account.

Can I still earn on TikTok if Creator Rewards is not available in my country?

Yes. LIVE gifts, TikTok Shop and its affiliate program, Series, creator subscriptions and direct brand deals are all separate from Creator Rewards and are gated differently. LIVE gifting and brand partnerships are the two that work in the widest range of markets. Open Creator tools in the app to see which of these your account actually has, since that list is region specific and changes without announcement.

When will the Creator Rewards Program launch in my country?

There is no public roadmap. TikTok does not publish a schedule of upcoming Creator Rewards countries, and the expansion timelines you will see elsewhere with specific quarters attached are guesses, not announcements. The only signal that means anything is the program appearing in Creator tools in your app.

Why do my TikTok videos earn nothing even though I am in the program?

The most common reason is video length. The Creator Rewards Program terms cover eligible content with a duration of at least 1 minute, so anything shorter earns nothing from this program no matter how many views it gets. The other common reasons are content that does not meet the originality and community guidelines conditions in the terms, and views that are not counted as authentic.
